1965-1966 Vehicle Sign Painter works out of trunk of car!

You should know you’ve met a determined man, when he is working out of the trunk of his own car and going door-to-door to drum up business!
Jim was using his talent, his paint box and his maul stick to make his dream come true!
A maul stick is what he used for balance as he hand painted his graphics on vehicles. Early on, Jim decided to put his signature on each and every vehicle as his “stamp of approval”.
Around this time Jim started doing work for Tennessee Armature Electric lettering their company vehicles. They are still a customer to this day!
